uboats in lake michigan?

Someone asked if the story was true that a poss ww1 Uboat was taken to lake michigan and exibited as a travelling show. and finally used as target practice? the uboat was apparantly loaded with mercury, and he asked if this was ever recovered.True or false.?I dont think this is the same one mentioned in myths.

question two. A midget sub (poss seehund) was last seen in Halifax, and appears to have gone missing last seen at dceim in the 1960s. Rumours that it may be in private collection..! true or false...</HTML>
