Hi All

Mystery surrounding the sinking of neutral Irish Trawler Leukos on the 9th.March 1940 by U38 Captained by Heinrich Liebe. The Leukos was flying an Irish flag from her stern and had a large Irish flag painted along her starboard and port sides. The SS leukos also had her lights on and was travelling in a convoy when the Irish ship was attacked. I would be interested to hear any comments on this. The Leukos crew of 11 all lost their lives.

Regards
Denis Martin
