<HTML>No U-boats were lost.
But there where only two attacks on Polish ships, both on submarines and both failed, due to premature explosions of the magnetic pistols in the German torpedoes.
In the evening of 03 September 1939 U-14 (Wellner) missed the Polish submarine Sep in the Aaland Sea. And U-22 (Winter) missed the Polish submarine Zbik in the evening of 07 September.
