The orginal movie will be hard to get on DVD because it is not allowed to sold such Propaganda movies in Germany.

BTW, the movie was filmed on the brand-new U-123 with many of the original crew members and Karl Dönitz playing himself. I'm not aware of any U-boat commander appearing in the movie.
