<HTML>Frank,

Next time you\'re vacationing on the Outer Banks you might also want to travel a bit further south to Morehead City, NC, and visit the Olympus Dive Shop, They located U-352 about 26 miles out, in 115 feet of water, back in the 1970s and have been diving on it since. They have an excellent collection of artifacts on display, including a deck mounted machine gun from the boat. They have a web site at www.olympusdiving.com and you can scroll down to \"wrecks\" and click on to see a few very good pictures of U-352 in its present condition. I seem to recall they hosted a reunion of survivors of USCG Cutter Icarus and U-352 a few years back.
They also located the Rusian Freighter \"Ashkabad\" off Cape Lookout that was sunk by U-402 (von Forstner) on April 30, 1942, and the HMS Bedfordshire, sunk by U-558 around the same time.

Regards,
