Look around in this forum and you'll find a lot of book recommendations. However concerning U-boat operations along the shores of the US I would recommend Operation Drumbeat by - Gannon, Michael 1991, ISBN 0060920882 and Jak P. Mallmann Showell's U-Boats at War, Landings on Hostile Shores
2001, United States Naval Inst.
