U-968 Emblem ???

I am trying to ID the photo of the boat shown here:

The photo was taken in Loch Eriboll in May 1945.

The emblem shown in this photo (above) from U-Boat Hunters by Marc Milner opposite Page 157 might be that of U-968:

The emblem shown in Embleme Wappen Malings by Hogel shows an emblem similar to this one for U-968, but they are not totally identical.

The question is.....Is this U-968 shown in Milner's book opposite page 157 or another boat?
