The record of the attack and the convoy are in three files at the National Archives.

ADM 1/14542 CONVOYS AND ESCORTS (27): HMS DIANTHUS: awards for convoy escort duty and attack on enemy submarine 1943

ADM 267/136 Dianthus 1940-1945 (includes damage to Dianthus)

ADM 237/96 ON166 1943 Feb.- Apr. (the convoy)
