Hi Terry et al

That's great news regarding the funding and I'm sure that it will be used very wisely. You wouldn't believe some of the costs of the project. Just the steelwork alone for the supports, run into the tens of thousands!

The second cut was completed last Friday and they should be almost set up for the third. There will be one more after this one, which will more than likely run into next week. Logistics of the move have meant that the U-534 will now be cut into five sections rather than the original four. This will hopefully expose the Command Centre of the boat.

Terry, I'll give you a shout nearer the time. Due to problems with the Steel fabrication, they are a little behind schedule, but should be back on track for the move commencing the 10th of March.
