Hi Terry,

Are you interested only in the vessels sunk by THOROUGH? She was not the only submarine operating in this area. She sank two Chinese trading junks of about 60 GRT on 29.12.1944, one by gunfire the other by demolition charge, position: 08°10 N/98°14 E. This position may not reflect the actual positions of the wrecks as the vessels were trying to escape but are probably within 2-3 miles to the SSW.
She may have sunk a third vessel on 1.1.1945 by gunfire but action was broken off because of darkness and this one may have escaped, position was: 08°12 N/98°16 E. The other vessels sunk by THOROUGH were off the Burmese or Malayan coasts.
Let me know what you find!

Good luck!

Platon
