Hi,
I am not a sub expert like you guys, that's why I joined this forum.
It looks like a motor... On starboard side about 5-10 meters from the front, there is a hole of about 2 meters. It looks like the skin just peeled of because you can see a kind of iiner skin and outer skin and the structure in between is still there. Right after that straucture there is a thing that looks like a machine/motor and it is in a compartment because I cannot go through that hole into the boat. All together I assumed it was the motor. I should have some time in the upcoming week to either create a flash movie from our video or take some screenshots from the video.
