Hi
Eleven photos of U 873 on Ebay, not the most clearest, shows her under trials in the USA. Item number 370062932025.
On Wikipedia, they claim that in 2002 a torpedo fired by U-47 in Scapa Flow had bobbed to the surface, minus its warhead. It was then blown up by the RN.
If this was true why blow it up, is a torpedo still dangerous without its warhead?
Spatz.
