According to some accounts I have read - TANNENFELS was taken under fire
by twin 37mm AA mount on bow, main armament 4"/50 on stern fought the STIER
TANNENFELS fired on STEPHEN HOPKINS with its light 37mm/20mm AA guns and in return was hit by .50 and .30 machine gun fire from STEPHEN HOPKINS.
