FuMO29 Installation

Yes, I know, a tricky topic, but I figured I'd ask nonetheless: when was FuMO29 first installed? The boats listed here on the page about radar would suggest sometime in early 1942, but Rossler writes that there "was no move to install such apparatus in U-boats" and that (in regards to FuMO29) "installation began in the autumn of 1942." Could someone please clarify this for me?
