U boat in Barmouth Bay, west Wales

<HTML>I am seeking information about a German U Boat which, I understand, beached itself in Barmouth Bay, west Wales, during the second world war. The submarine may have been damaged at the time and the skipper may, in fact, have believed he was running aground in neutral Ireland.
