during the fourth patrol and last patrol Kptlt. Peter-Erich Cremer was seriously wounded by gunfire from the British corvette "HMS Crocus" and the 2. WO Lt.z.S. Helmut Kandzior takes temporary command of U 333.
Lt. Helmut Kandzior receives the temporary command between 06/10/42 and 09/10/42 of U 333 and in 09/10/42 made a rendezvous with U 107 [Kdt. Gelhaus] and Kptlt. Lorenz Kasch come aboard in order to take command for return to La Pallice
Kptlt. Lorenz Kasch made partial war patrol on U 107 [Kdt. Gelhaus] as Kommandantenschüler, Konfirmand 55 days, put aboard U 333 to take command.
Kommandant in Vertretung U 333 [Kdt. Cremer] Temporary Commander. Conduct the boat for the journey home 14 days.
