Hi Thomas,

Yes. This is a history forum and not a place for people to debate and argue etc.

Opinions aren't history, just what someone who may or may not have a clue what they are talking about has to say on the subject so unless you have done the research to know which is correct an opinion is worthless. If you have done the research then opinions aren't needed.

In this case Enigma decrypts were just one of several critical technologies that together contributed to the winning of the war. Which one was the most important can be debated until Hell freezes over but can never be proven. Squabbling over things like that is simply a waste of time and forum resources no matter how much fun it is.
