help with photo of two U boats

in the photo it is U 234 and U 873

which one is which?> ive looked into it and apparently U 234 is an XB type and U 873 is a IXD-2

In some sources state the boat on the right as U 234 and others say that the boat on the left is U 234.

I would like to clarify which boat is which as I am confused.

all help apprerciated
