You can find informations about the U-boats that operated in the Mediterranean here: [www.uboat.net]
Because the neutral Turkey did not allow warships of other nations pass through the Dardanelles and Bosporus Straits, the Germans had to transport six Type IIB U-boats over rivers and streets to the Black Sea where they formed the 30th Flotilla.
