Trawler LODDEN was from Lowestoft. Skippers name was Adams. Lifeboat from SONGA containing the Chief Officer and 12 others was picked up and they were landed in Kinsale on 27th January 1940. The lifeboat containing the Captain and 11 other crew members landed at Goleen on afternoon of 26th January.
