How did U-995 Display it's Emblems during the war?

Hi
I am getting a model made of U-995. I am curious as to how the emblem or emblems were displayed during the war. In the current museum boat it just has the fang den hut emblem on the starboard front of the conning tower. There is nothing else. However in Hogels U-Boat Emblems it also shows the fang den hut men inside what looks like a globe. It also has the 13th flotilla emblem too.
So what was displayed during the war as opposed to whats on the museum boat now?
Thanx
