Completed 1928 - Joh.C. Tecklenborg AG Schiffswerft u. Maschinenfabrik, Wesermünde as German Lindenfels for Deutsche Dampfschiffahrts Ges. 'Hansa', Bremen.

On 10 May 1940, the ship was seized at Sabang by Netherlands and renamed Mangkalihat.
