Reason for loss : Torpedoed by U 1023
Position : Off Lyme Bay, 5022 N 0309 W

Remarks:
07.05.45:
NYMS 382, Commander Lt. T. Sjøvold, belonging to 3th. Minesweeping Unit (RN), Cherbourg, was torpedoed by U 1023 with a GNAT torpedo. 22 men were killed.
