U-Boot VIID - internal arrangement

Can anyone please suggest the internal arrangement of the VIID version as 5 mine shafts (or chutes?) were located directly in the area of the central corridor of the boat. How was the access from the engines compartment to the command section ensured then? Were there any side corridors along the shafts? I visited U-995 (VIIC/41) in Laboe last year - the central corridor is very narrow to enable any side passage along the shafts, I am afraid...
