<HTML>Lawrence\'s book is an excellent first-hand account of the Canadian ASW forces of the second world war. Missing from the exerpt on the web site is Lawrence\'s description of his trousers, heavy with boarding gear, falling down to his ankles as he jumped to the deck of the U-boat. His recounting indicates he simply kicked them off rather than pulling them up; but that detail seems to have been neglected in the official versions of the ensuing combat. =AL=</HTML>
