I can account for 38 crew and 3 gunners (2 MRA and 1 RN) lost.
However, when you have ambiguity from different sources, I would always recommend you check the primary sources. In this case check out the ship's last crew agreement which is held at the UK National Archives, Kew in piece BT 381/1652 at this link: [www.nationalarchives.gov.uk] This should give you all those who had signed Articles aboard including the military gunners. From this you should be able to determine who the survivors were.
