Trying to understand, why? and who authorised the following, if true, Having been captured on April 24th, was KL Just (U 546),and six of his crew, first at Argentia and then at Washington, were BEATEN daily during interrogation,up until after the war in Europe had ended. The reason, not stated,or did the sinking of the Frederick C Davis, where only 66 of 192 crewmen survived, have any thing to do with it?. In addition, the C/O of U 873, KL Steinhoff, committed suicide, after he was given the same treatment in Charles Street Prison,Boston, apparently from the same people, seeking ? information of missile launchers, Steinhoff was part of the unsuccessful trials, while C/O of U 511 during May/June 1942. What was the rationale behind this course of action, when Germany had been beaten, all her ships, planes, submarines, military secrets etc were now available?. And are the people who carried it out known? or still protected by clasified material? john
