Hi all,
It is said that Blair wrote : «… they feared Allied POW's might be turned over to the GESTAPO ». This is certainly not correct due to the fact that this (ex-) Nazi State Police Service didn’t existed anymore after 1945. Furthermore the US- C.I.A. was among the « occupied forces in Germany » in that time.
In an article publish this week in a (Belgian) magazine is argued that many ex-top Nazi officer were recruited after WO II by the Allied-services. I wonder if they wouldn’t have do so with such a well-trained and experienced agent like Mantel going back to his native country in 1947 ?
Have anybody a meaning about this and/or any evidences ?
By the way, what are the references of the book of BLAIR ?
Thanks and regards
Freddy.
