Ggl - "Gottgläubig" - literally "believer in God" but no religious affiliation/organized church in the traditional sense. In Germany, if you're a member of a church, you pay a religious tax. By leaving the church and declaring yourself to be "Gottgläubig", you also don't have to pay the tax.
