I am looking for details on U-29's pre-war activities. I have a picture that shows the boat (with the number 29 on the conning tower) towing a Do 18 but with no date. Unfortunately the aircraft's codes are not visible. If anyone has any details on the movements of the boat or indeed if they know when the event may have occurred, I would be greatly appreciative if someone could offer assistance.

Secondary to this, if someone could tell me the date numbers were ordered removed from the boat and if they know when this was done to U-29.
