Hi all,
I recieved in a will a while ago what I believe to be an uboat 8 day clock.
Pictures will follow.
My Great Uncle a British Army veteran told me that he swapped this clock for
a bar of chocolate from a British Naval port when the boat in question was being stripped out.
This info is around 25 years old so it might not be accurate.
The clock is brass, painted black on the rear, has 3 fixing lugs, winding key.
The number on the front rhs is 1215 with a N underneath it.
On the front lhs there is a swastika with the letter M underneath.
The minute hand is shorter than the hour hand, which are black, the seconds hand is red in colour.
It works fine.
Any information would be great, thanks, Gareth.
