Matrose "JENTSCHIN" ?

On 19.05.1942 the body of a Matrose Jentschin was washed ashore here in England, the name was obtained from a name tag, in German script, on his uniform, BUT the WASt have no record of a seaman by this name, could the German script have been mistakenly read?
Happy New Year.
