TOM, RAY, this is such info that I have on U 13 ;

U 13
Type: II.B, coastal.
Constructor: Deutsche Werke, Kiel.
Armament: 6 Torpedoes, 1 x 20mm.
Commissioned: 30.11.35. Operational: Pre-war.
Service Life: 8. Operational Life: 8.
Patrols: 8. Theatre: Atlantic. Sank 6 m/vs (24,921 grt), 5 of which
to mines and damaged 2 m/vs (17,901 grt), one of which to mines.
Laid mines off Orfordness on 4.9.39. Laid mines South of Dundee in
December, 1939. Rescued crew of ditched German aircraft in position
52.27N 02.02E on 12.9.39. Departed: 26.5.40, Kiel: for North Sea.
Last ActIion: 31.5.40 1 U-Flotille, sunk by HMS Weston (SLP L.Cdr
S.C. Tuke) in position 52.27N 02.02E, off Newcastle 1.U-Flotille.
A full set of Enigma rotors, and instructions for the use of the
German Naval Enigma were recovered.
The Commander and crew being made POW.

KL H. Scheringer 11.39-12.39. KL Lüth 12.39.
KL M. Schulte 12.39-05.40.
M/V attacked/damaged/sunk : Magdapur(S), City of Paris(D), Phryne(S),

Start(S),Fram(S),Swainby(S),Scottish American(S)(Schulte).
