I have check through several pages 'Nissen', and although there seems to be a German / Danish link, the name crops up at Copenhagen and Flensburg as well as in Germany, the U-boat man wanted is not there. In the several military sites, again only Sintrup is given as place of birth, alas the non english sites have me baffled as to give any clues. Therefore unless another source comes forward Sintrup remains a mystery. Regards john
