U-618 translation help

In translating U-618's KTB, I came across this entry:

"In rw. 110 Grad kommt ein Zerstoerer mit spitzer Lage in Sicht."

What does "mit spitzer Lage" mean in this context? Is it something like "at a sharp angle on the bow"?
