<HTML>Just a quick note. Whilst doing some research on Operation Drumbeat and other relevant material, i came across this Quote:

\"The F.B.I., between January 1942 and May 15th, 1943, investigated over 500 reports of refueling of enemy U-boats, along the shores of the United States, signalling to them and the like; but \" every report... was a false alarm.\"

Now it would be interesting to get hold of these reports for your area, as I am sure if the event did take place? then it would have been reported.
These reports should be available under the Freedom of Information Act in the United States, if you can get hold of them it may or may not vindicate your story?
