OFF TOPIC: the Volkssturm

I apologize for yet another of my Off Topic questions and I thank you all for indulging me yet again. I come to U-boat.net with my questions because the membership here is so varied with their Third Reich knowledge. And that\'s hard to find on other sites.

With that said, my question is regarding the Volkssturm or \"People\'s Army\" formed in the latter war years.Were the men of the Volkssturm issued any type of identification cards, dog tags, etc. which would designate them as members? Along that line, I am wondering what such ID might have looked like and what information it may have contained.
