There still remains some confusion and misleading information in several published accounts regarding the "six Bibers":

re: Operation "Caesar" ..."Six bibers of K-Flot 265 were loaded on three Type VIICs (U295,U716 and U739)"...

If anyone has a copy of the original U-318 KTB (entries for January 1945) - this would indicate whether or not U-318 was a participant (Ritschel - Band 7 does indicate that U-318 did indeed participate). Ritschel also indicates that U-295 and U-716 were also participants in Operation "CÄSAR". U-739 and U-992 are not mentioned as participants in Ritschel.
