No, the question is not here.
Some fanatics want do sail and dive with a VII C or XXI. Why? To find again the sensations of underwater navigation on a such ship.To understand what life had the german submariner during WWII.
But, first to navigate and dive with a submarine, it is necessary to have a crew ( not very numerous if your sailing time is short, without long nautical duties) but very training men with a long practice of this kind of boat.
Second, you must have a very good knowledge of all installations on board. (And they were a lot).
Third, a long practice of injuries and damage and how put them right.
Otherwise, it would be the first and last diving.
How long time to form foreign navy crews on a type of new submarine for export?
I think a submarine is not like an aeroplane of last war.
