Thanks John. This is fantastic!

The reason I am asking about the numbers is the two U-boat on the left have been modified for the underwater refuelling. We only know of 8 U-boat with this alteration.

I believe strongly the two U-boat on the left are U-773 and U-1064, the reason follows:

U-310, U-315, U-481 & U-483 are all build from boatyards not known to modified U-boat for the underwater refuelling.

U-953, U-978 & U-994 are very unlikely been modified becuase we know that U-995 is not modified for the underwater refuelling.

We know that U-776 and U-1065 were modified for the underwater refuelling and both U-773 and U-1064 are sister ships to U-776 and U-1065. I believe this is strong evidence that U-773 and U-1064 were also modified for the underwater refuelling.
