Wonder no more Sam, no uboat entered the St. Lawrence River during WWI.
Uboats did sink ships off the northeastern coast of the USA and Canada. Among
them was the U53 sinking 5 ships in 1916. U117, U140, 151 and U156 also sank
ships. There is a lot more info in the WWI section and WWI Forum section of
this site.
