German prisoner of war clock made in Texas camp

I have in my families possession a clock constructed by German POWs located at a camp in Texas dates 1945. The clock is signed by several men and we would very much like to get it back to a family member rather thn sitting in a collectors place. Does anyone know how I can find information on these men?
