Okay, thanks very much. Do you know of an English-language book which includes this topic? I'm surprised that constant bombing didn't prevent the construction of these important targets, during a period when Britain had an active bomber force, the target was close, and Churchill considered the Atlantic lifeline Britain's most worrisome problem.
