Hello All

U-954 was sunk on the 19th May 43 in the vicinity of convoy SC130,
in a depth-charge attacks by frigate HMS Jed (Lt-Cdr R C Freaker)
and the sloop HMS Sennen.
Then U-954 sunk there were no survivors, all 47 of her crew died.
The 2WO on U-954 was Leutnant Peter Doenitz, the second son
of Adm Karl Doenitz. It was Peter\'s first patrol in a U-boat.
U-954\\\'s CO was KL Odo Loewe.
