No apologies needed,
Although not known at the time a meeting of a U Boat crew was the best option (regarding the Axis military) that could happen to a village. However, no boat captain would allow the above to happen. Plus, an open torpedo tube was both visually and electronically obvious. Like walking to your car and not noticing its hood is open. Take care.
