I believe an American or British company was successful in employing hard-hat saturation divers in recovering about 5 tons of gold from the wreck of the British cruiser HMS Edinburgh from under 800 feet of seawater in the Barents Sea in the arctic circle back in 1981. What could possibly prevent the recovery of bullion from such a relatively accessible wreck (by modern standards) after 5 years of effort?

I do not believe there has ever been even a single billion dollar wreck valued at the time of its recovery, but this group has claimed a dozen shipwrecks claiming a total value of more than twelve billion dollars? That's +$12,000,000,000.00!!!!!!!
According to the channel 6 interview they admitted to having recovered "a few coins"?

WOW...I have to see those coins!!!

Sounds like a lot of money has been made, just not from treasure salvage, but from the pockets of hapless investors!

Sounds like the FBI, SEC and IRS should take a look at this operation!

Have a good day.
