Hi Peter

In the summer of 2013 the wreck of a type VIIC was discovered off Odensholm and recently dived by the Finnish diver group Badewanne (http://badewanne.fi). The U-boat is not yet identified without doubt, but it is very likely that this is indeed U-479. We've updated our page about this U-boat accordingly: [uboat.net]
