Hi John

I assume you are asking about the escorts of OB-284? The 5th EG escorted this convoy until being detached to escort SC-21 and was definitely led by HMS VANOC. The latter convoy is listed on the page about this destroyer on naval-history but the first is missing, apparently because its list of escorted convoys is based on Hague's work and was missed due to the typo made in the original data.
