Is there such a part of a German torpedo called a detonator ring ? I have a photo of an alleged piece of a German torpedo with the label 'Detonator ring'.

Are there any photos of torpedoes that show details of a German torpedo so I can try an match the part at all ?

I don't know how to upload images of the part I have I am afraid.

To describe the part - it is a screw threaded ring which appears to be integral with another aspect of the torpedo and the ring has a pair of opposed slots or cut-outs spanning the thickness of the diameter of the ring.
