<HTML>Hi Axel,

Great to have your oh so useful informations back on this site. One thing does startle me though: you state that U 1003 was already rammed by RCN New Glasgow on March 20 while snorkeling. This is amazing: not only U 1003 did survive a ramming while snorkeling, by itself a tremendous strike of luck, but she did manage to escape the frigate and all the Task Groups for the next 48 hours. Sure enough U 1003 was a lucky boat... Can you tell us a bit more about this story ?

Thanks again

Marc </HTML>
